ONGC Paper 4 Nov 2012 - All Discipline

ONGC conducted the written test for the post of GT(graduate trainee) on 04 Nov 2012 . The short review of the paper is given below. For the next round 1:3 ratio candidates will be selected for the interview in various disciplines according to their respective vacancies.  The result of the test will be announced in the last of week of December or latest by January.

ONGC GT-2012 Syllabus / Paper Pattern

        ONGC is looking for promising, energetic and young Geo-scientists, Engineers, MBAs, and CAs/ ICWA‟s with bright academic record to join the organization as Class-I executive (E-1) in the following disciplines- Geology, Geophysics, Reservoir, Chemistry, Programming, Production, Drilling, Cementing, Mechanical, Electrical, E&T, Instrumentation, Civil, Transport, Finance, HR, Materials Management, Medical & Security. The pay scale is in the grade of Rs. 24,900 - 50,500/- with an increment of 3% per year. Besides Basic Pay, the employee is entitled to allowance @ 47% of Basic Pay under Cafeteria Approach, Dearness Allowance, HRA/Company Accommodation, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Maintenance, Substantial Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical Facility for self and dependents, Gratuity, Self Contributory Post Retirement Benefit Scheme and Composite Social Security Scheme as per Company rules.

Pay scale- 24,900-50,500/-

                              Pattern / Syllabus of the written test

 Written test will be objective type and the detail of the paper is given below..

Total duration of the test– 03 hours.

ONGC (tentatively) announces the date of examination for the graduate trainee-2012 is 7^th Oct 2012. Admit card for the examination will be available by the 25^th Sept.
